Thanks for checking out Free US Slot Tournaments. Our goal is to provide you with information on the latest free slots tournaments and best slots casinos. We know it difficult to find slot tournaments that allow players from the United States, but all the tournaments listed here can be played by U.S. players.

There is a free tournament schedule listed above. I try to update this as often as I can. Most of the free slot tournaments now being offered are daily or weekly games and there have been fewer of the free slot tournaments with large prizes left. Occasionally, I will list some of the large prize money slot tournaments that you have to pay for.

If you are from outside of the United States, you should take a look at these online slot tournaments to find one that is currently being played and ones that are scheduled for the upcoming week.

Update - 3/5/12
Most of the Vegas Technology casinos closed their doors back in August. That means that the best source of slot tournaments is gone. The only tournaments left for people in the U.S. is a few of the online casinos that use RTG software. These tournaments don't change much which means that I won't be posting much anymore, unless something new pops up.

I have replaced the Vegas Tech casinos in the schedule with a couple of RTG casinos that recently starting to have their own slots tournaments. Two of them (Cool Cat and Silver Oak) offer players a $30 free chip to use on the casino's slot tournaments. The free $30 can only be used to play on these tournaments and not in the rest of the casino.

After you are finished with the slot bonus, you can choose to accept another bonus after you make a deposit. These bonuses can only be used one at a time. This means you either have to run out of the $30 chip (less then $5) or complete the wagering requirements for the slot tournament bonus (whichever comes first).

Only the casinos that use RTG software still offer slot tournaments to US customers, although there is one independent casino that I am currently looking into. The ones that I've played and reviewed on this site are Rushmore, Silver Oak, Cool Cat Casino, Casino Titan and Club World.

New Years Freeroll in Review

Update – January 6th: I found a great article on the Right Prize Slots. This tells you anything you need to know about this video slot game, check it out!

go casino logo New Years Freeroll in Review I played in the New Years Celebration Freeroll at Go Casino. I’m sorry I’ve been out of the loop recently, but I’ll be back with a vengeance this month. There were a total of four freeroll slot tournaments that I have found so far this month, but I was too late on getting you to the first one, as the tournament ends today.

Fortunately, there is a second New Years Celebration tournament that starts up this Friday. Since the two tournaments are virtually identical, I’ll explain the details of the upcoming event first before I show you how I did in the first one.

New Years Freeroll Slot Tournament

This tournament starts on Fri, Jan 08 at 8:00PM and will end on Tues, Jan 12 at 8:00PM. This tournament offers a total prize pool of $50,000. Here is how much you can win:

1st place – $15,000 the right prize New Years Freeroll in Review
2nd place – $5,000
3rd place – $2,500
4th place – $1,900
5th place – $1,400
6th place – $1,200
7th place – $1,000
8th place – $800
9th place – $700
10th place – $500

Prizes for places 11 – 500 will receive a bonus money from the casino. This money cannot be withdrawn from your account, but this money is free to bet with and can make you some real money that you can cash out. The prizes for places 11 through 20 will receive from $430 to $100 bonus dollars. The next 80 will receive from $95 to $60 in bonus money.

Featured Video Slot Game

The featured slot for the upcoming tournament is the Right Prize, with is based off of the Price is Right slots. This is very similar to some of the other video slots that I’ve shown you in previous posts. This game has 25 paylines, a bonus round, free spins and a wild card to offer and they will be explained shortly. Here is a screenshot of the payouts (it’s easier than writing them all down):

To win 10 Free Spins, you must get three or more of the Opening Door icons on your screen. Getting 4 or 5 doors on the reels isn’t going to get you any more free spins, but they both have very large payouts.

As in most other online video slots, the Wild Logo symbol can be used to substitute for any other icon except the bonus and scatter.

Right Prize Bonus Round

First, in order to get the bonus round, you have to get three bonus wheel icons on the screen, like so:

The Right Prize’s bonus round is called “Chip Drop” and looks suspiciously like Plinko. You have pick one out of seven spots to drop the chip. Each spot at the top has a random corresponding spot below.

You have a total of three chances to drop the chip. The prizes at the bottom of the board correspond to how much you bet on you last spin. There is one top prize and two second, third and fourth prizes.

This mean if you get a third or fourth prize on your first drop, take your second drop to try and get one of the top prizes. I would stay if you get either the first or second prize.

1st New Year’s Freeroll

The only difference with this tournament, besides the date it is played, was the featured game played. This tournament featured the 5 Reel Wheel of Chance video slot that was featured for Thanksgiving.

I was not so lucky this time around. I got a couple of bonus rounds and got up as high as 205th place. But I got bounced back down and busted out. Here are some highlights:

Halloween Freeroll Slot Tournament Review

November 02, 2009 :: Posted by - admin :: Category - Slot Tournament Review

free slot tournament results Halloween Freeroll Slot Tournament ReviewSo I made my first post Thursday and I told you about the Fearfully Fun Fright Night Freeroll $2,666 Guaranteed slot tournament. Just to let you know that I’m not one to post about something and not go and participate in the contest.

I finished with $9042.52. I ended up finishing in 12th place, netting me $60. But, I had less than 1/6th the amount of coins as the winner.

I did bust out on my freeroll though and did have to re-buy for $1.99 twice, so it wasn’t exactly free. But that still means I made a profit of $56 for participating in this slot tournament.

As you can see, I was no where near the top winner. Usually this is the way it goes. A couple of people end up hitting it big. Usually they get there by getting lucky and hitting the bonus round when they’ve put in a max bet of $250. That hit alone will net you more than I made in the tournament, probably a little over $10,000 for that one spin.

My general thoughts about participating in these tournaments with the goal of getting near the top are as follows:

1) With every video slot, there are times when the paylines naturally hit more often and times when there are extended droughts. Instead of thinking that your due at one time or another, try to bet low during a period of time when things are looking good. Any time you hit an extended period of 30-50 spins where you don’t see much more than a two times your bet winner, that’s when you want to bump up the coins to the next level.

2) If you ok with spending a little bit of money, wait til the paylines start hitting start betting big. You’ll bust out several times, but if/when you hit, you’ll hit a lot bigger and catapult yourself onto the leaderboard. This can be softened a lot when your talking about losing two bucks each time you bust out.

3) If you have just hit a big score, the slot machines usually like trying to take your money back with a dry spell. Bump down the amount of coins that you are betting, but not so much that you won’t benefit from a bonus round.

4) I’m not sure if this is the correct method, but it’s the method that I always use. I always bet max paylines. That way I know which paylines have hit and when things are hot or cold.

video slot autoplay setting Halloween Freeroll Slot Tournament Review5) Another tactic that I use is doing about 100-200 autospins at the second lowest coin amount ($1.25 per spin in this case). If you notice that you’ve lost more than $100 or more during that spell, bump up you bets because you should be getting some big hits your way.

A have included a picture of the Autoplay Settings to let you see what I was thinking here. If I hit something more than $50, I want to know about it. Usually it takes another 500-2000 spins before you will get another 40X or more payline win.

Other than that, most of the strategy revolves around the luck of your timing. If you never change your coins, you are almost always guaranteed to lose.

I ended up taking a little more than 2000 spins, which isn’t a whole lot when it comes to a slot tournament. Here are some screenshots that I took of big payline hits:

Here is how I won this amount of money in the bonus round.

Here are two other big wins. The first is a well timed $250 bet that won me $2800. The second was a 15X hit that was also luckily time; it was the first spin after 30 spins at $1.25 without a winning a the bet back.

I will be participating in and review more Free US Slot Tournaments. Please stay tuned because I will let you know when a free online slot tournament is upcoming as well.
