A Valentine’s Day free slot tournament is about to start this Friday, February 12 at 8:00PM EST. The total prize pool for this event is going to be $75,000 guaranteed. This slot tournament will last for an entire week until next Friday, Feb 19 at 7:45PM.
As of right now, only 700 people have signed up to play, but this is sure to rise as we get closer to the start of the tourney. The prize for first place is an enormous $21,000 and all winners in the top 8 will walk away with more than $1000.

Tournament Info
As always, this tournament is 100% free to enter and register for. You do not have to make a deposit at Online Vegas in order to play and have a chance to win. All players will start with a balance of $100 in coins and you must make a minimum of 20 bets to qualify for a high score.
The goal as always is to post the highest score by the time the tournament ends. The person with the highest score on the leaderboard will win $21,000. Almost all of the free tournaments here have always had a Wild Card, Free Spins and a Bonus Round to make it “easier” to jump up way up in total if you get lucky and land a large valued spin. This makes it much more likely that you can start the tournament a couple days late and still be able to make the leaderboard.
Routinely, I have seen the top score go into the tens of thousands (remember you are starting with $100). So this really does become a runaway train once someone hits a bonus round with a max bet.
If you do bust out early, you can always rebuy for a fee of $14.14 and there is no limit to the number of rebuys you make. If you do decide to rebuy, you will be given an additional $325 in your coin balance. You can only rebuy if your current balance is $25 or under.

Featured Game – Cupid’s Arrow
The featured game for this slot tournament is Cupid’s Arrow. Obviously, it is a Valentine’s Day themed video slot that has 5 reels and 20 paylines. It also contains a Free Spins scatter card and a Gift Box Pyramid bonus game.
The one downside with this game is that a lot of the icons look alike (8 of the 13 icons have a heart in them in one way or another) so it may be a bit confusing at first. As with any video slot, just give it a little time and you’ll know what your looking to get. If there is any doubt, you want to get something that looks close to this:
The Roses, the Lipstick Kiss, the Chocolate Heart Box and the Valentine’s Day Card are the four highest in that order. The Pink number 8 payline and grey number 18 payline is where I got the big wins in this instance.
As with most games, you must get three Scatter cards on the screen in order to get free spins. In Cupid’s Arrow, the scatters will get you 15 free spins. You can also win additional free spins by collecting at least two scatters on the board during a free spin.
All winnings during free spins are tripled (minus the additional free spins won), including any bonus round winnings!
Cupid’s Arrow Bonus Round
In order to obtain the bonus round, you must Bonus Heart symbol on both reels 2 and 4. These are the only two reels they will show up on. You will be transported over to the Gift Box Pyramid to try to collect money all the way up to the top.
Once you get the Broken Heart as shown, you will only collect what you have already won and do not get to progress any further up the pyramid. I have played this bonus game about 10 times and from what I can tell, there is no broken heart in the first row of presents. But after the first row there is at least 1 box per row that contains the broken heart.
