Thanks for checking out Free US Slot Tournaments. Our goal is to provide you with information on the latest free slots tournaments and best slots casinos. We know it difficult to find slot tournaments that allow players from the United States, but all the tournaments listed here can be played by U.S. players.

There is a free tournament schedule listed above. I try to update this as often as I can. Most of the free slot tournaments now being offered are daily or weekly games and there have been fewer of the free slot tournaments with large prizes left. Occasionally, I will list some of the large prize money slot tournaments that you have to pay for.

If you are from outside of the United States, you should take a look at these online slot tournaments to find one that is currently being played and ones that are scheduled for the upcoming week.

Update - 3/5/12
Most of the Vegas Technology casinos closed their doors back in August. That means that the best source of slot tournaments is gone. The only tournaments left for people in the U.S. is a few of the online casinos that use RTG software. These tournaments don't change much which means that I won't be posting much anymore, unless something new pops up.

I have replaced the Vegas Tech casinos in the schedule with a couple of RTG casinos that recently starting to have their own slots tournaments. Two of them (Cool Cat and Silver Oak) offer players a $30 free chip to use on the casino's slot tournaments. The free $30 can only be used to play on these tournaments and not in the rest of the casino.

After you are finished with the slot bonus, you can choose to accept another bonus after you make a deposit. These bonuses can only be used one at a time. This means you either have to run out of the $30 chip (less then $5) or complete the wagering requirements for the slot tournament bonus (whichever comes first).

Only the casinos that use RTG software still offer slot tournaments to US customers, although there is one independent casino that I am currently looking into. The ones that I've played and reviewed on this site are Rushmore, Silver Oak, Cool Cat Casino, Casino Titan and Club World.

Countdown to Easter Freeroll

April 19, 2011 :: Posted by - admin :: Category - Free Slot Tournaments

The Countdown to Easter Freeroll has already begun at Online Vegas. There are already more than 23,000 free entries. You may not think that you have much of a shot starting a couple of days late, but you would be surprised.

While it is true that only the top 11 places will receive $100 or more, the number of participants is deceiving. About 90-95% of all of the entries will bust out early and not come back. That means that you only need to be lucky enough to get yourself started on your bankroll in order to have a chance.

By now you should know the drill, but in case you are new to this site here is a look at how to sign up at Online Vegas for a freeroll. The tournament lobby has changed, but signing up is still the same. Take a look at the tournament lobby below:

online vegas easter lobby Countdown to Easter Freeroll

Just click on the Free Rolls tab and select the only tournament in the list. Click the red Register button, click OK on the popup and then press the Enter button to start your tournament play.

I just started playing in this freeroll and found that with a little under $50 (the starting balance) that I am already in 900th place. That was without really trying. The first place prize of $1000 is falling out of reach really fast because one lucky player has more than 4 times the balance of any other competitor.

2nd through 10th place are still up for grabs for now, as no one has broken further away then a $20,000 balance. My personal best in any one of these competitions has been to get a balance of around $13,000. At the time, this was good enough to win 8th place overall and it would currently put me at 6th place in this tournament.

However, there is a large drop off in totals after the 9th place player. A score of $6,000 is good enough for 10th place right now and a chance at a $100 prize.

Funky Chicken

Funky Chicken is the slot game featured for this tournament. It is pretty straight forward with a Scarecrow substitute and a Funky Chicken scatter.

There is no bonus round in this particular slot; however, getting three of the Funky Chicken scatters will activate the free spin feature and will be rewarded with 15 free spins at the rate which you were betting when you won the free spins.

What happens if I bust out early?

Like usual, you will have a decision to make. You can either call it quits and wait for next month’s contest at Online Vegas, or you can rebuy for $4.99 and get an extra $250 in your balance.

Do I suggest that you rebuy back into this tournament? My short answer is not more than one time. If that even.

The freerolls are there to draw the casual slot players interest in slot tournaments. In this case, Online Vegas is selling the idea of the slot tournament to the players that sign up for the freeroll. That is why the prizes have all become bonus money prizes.

This isn’t a bad thing; the bonus money can be wagered in order to convert it into real money. So they are actually giving you a chance to win for free.

But if you would like a decent chance of winning real money instead of the bonus prizes, you should check out the $30,000 Guaranteed Weekend Madness slot tournaments.

$30,000 Guaranteed Weekend Madness

Each Friday at 10:30PM ET marks the start of this weekly slot tournament at Online Vegas. There is a guaranteed prize pool of $30,000 (real money) for each weekend tournament. The individual prizes vary based upon the number of entries into the tournament.

In order to play, you must buy-in for a $10 entry fee. This will start you out with $325 in starting credits. You will have until the next Monday at 11:30PM ET to post the highest score on the leaderboard.

If you aren’t just looking to have fun and want a real chance at winning money playing slot tournaments, I would suggest you give the Weekend Madness tournament a try.

Slot Tournament No Deposit Bonus

Looking to have a little more fun for free?

I have gotten some good reviews about my most recent post – the $30 No Deposit slot tournament bonus at Silver Oak Casino. I received an email about one player who won a Daily Tournament and pocketed almost $300!

Good luck to all of you and I hope that you can win like this as well. If you would like to let me know how this has helped you as well, please use the Contact button at the top of the home page to get a hold of me.

St. Patrick’s Week Long Freeroll

March 16, 2011 :: Posted by - admin :: Category - Free Slot Tournaments

Looks like this is going to be a popular one! There is already 20,000 people who have registered for a chance to win part of the $25,000 guaranteed at Grand Vegas. The winner of this event will receive $1,000 and the featured slot has an Irish theme for St Patty’s day. This tournament starts at 10:30AM ET tomorrow, March 17 and lasts until Friday, March 25 at 10:30PM.

The great thing about this freeroll tournament is that the prizes are real money and not the bonus money that you have to wager X amount of times in order to withdraw. Granted you won’t be able to withdraw the $1 prize for finishing between 4001 and 5000; but if you run that up to $100, you will be able to withdraw the money without restrictions.

So that means that 5000 people really win money? Yes, but the good prizes are near the top. The grand prize winner gets a grand, 2nd will receive $460, 3rd gets $350 and the top 11 all win more than $100. If you are in the top 20, you will get at least $50. Finish in the top 100 and you will at least get $30; top 200 gets at least $20. The prizes steadily drop down to $1 for finishing in the top 5000.

Slot Tournament Info

I’m not going to lie to you, this one is going to be tough to get started and stay in for free. This is the freeroll that is meant to get someone to rebuy for $4.99 in order to really have a legitimate shot.

Why do I say that? Because your starting balance for the tournament is $15! That means your going to be playing low limits and small victories for a while; or you can bust out early, rebuy and get an additional $150 in credits and start betting like you normally would.

But this is exactly why they made hard; they want people to pay for the rebuy because they are offering real money to the winners. I know that at least 90% of the 20,000 people signed up are going to bust out in 5 minutes and probably won’t be back; but that is the nature of offering free things to people.

Luck of the Irish Slots

We have a different kind of slot tournament then normal. This isn’t a 5 reel video slot like almost every other tournament that I’ve presented here. It is a 3 reel slots bonus game that will be featured in this tournament. So I’m going to explain this one because it is a little different.

grand vegas lobby St. Patricks Week Long Freeroll

If you would like to play this game for fun or practice, download Grand Vegas software or play at their flash casino (no download required). The game is located under the 3 Reel Slots Bonus category.

So, obviously the first thing we see is the that there are only three (3) reels and only one (1) payline. The icons must land on the payline to win. The paychart is clearly labeled right on the slot machine and all of the typical Irish symbols are there: the pot of gold, the green beer and the shamrock.

This is a lot more like a traditional Bell slot machine then anything I’ve posted here before. It is slightly different from a regular 3 reel slot. I told you that this is a bonus slot; here is what that means:

You have the ability to choose a betting between these coin levels: 10¢, 25¢, 50¢, $1, $5 and $10. The total credits that you have will change when you change betting levels. Then, you have the option of betting 1, 2 or 3 coins/credits on your spin (Play Max button automatically bets 3 coins).

If you bet 1 credit and win, your prize will be from the 1st credit winners payout chart. Playing 2 credits will win you a prize on the 2nd credit winner payout chart. However, if you only play one or two credits, you will not be eligible to receive any of the bonuses.

The bonuses are all listed under the 3rd credit winners list. Three pots of gold is the jackpot. I’ll decipher the rest of that below to you. The pot of gold icon is wild with the 3rd credit and pays you 2x the winnings if you complete a payline. If you get 2 pot of gold icons, you will win 4x the amount of the 2nd credit winnings.

The bonus round symbol is on the third reel only. If it lands on the payline and you have bet 3 credits, the paylines will disappear from the top of the slot machine and several leprechauns will appear on the screen.

luck o irish bonus game St. Patricks Week Long Freeroll

Select one of the leprechauns and a pot of gold will fall down and award you with a prize. You can choose to accept this prize or trade it in and pick again.

luck o irish bonus game 2 St. Patricks Week Long Freeroll

You can subsequently choose to accept or trade a total of 4 times. On your fifth pick, the game is over and you must accept the prize.

luck o irish bonus game win St. Patricks Week Long FreerollI choose 50¢ per credit when I won this bonus round. Take a look at the prizes that I was offered. Even though not all 5 were shown, the first four prizes were between $10 and $17.50. On the fifth and final pick, I received the 2x prize of $37.50.

So if your total bet is $1.50 (3 credits X 50¢) and you can win $37.50, that means you I think it’s safe to say that if you get at least 25 times your bet on the bonus round. If you are only offered 6 to 12 times your bet, trade in and go for the large bonus.
