Also, this looks like a different style of tournament then the ones I’ve shown you before. It looks like you will be given 10,000 credits to start and 10 playtime minutes. I’m pretty sure this means that whoever gets the highest score within a 10 time frame will win.

Now this Easter Week Long Freeroll isn’t over yet. For those of you who think it is too late to join, you still have a legitimate shot of getting on the leader board. Although first place is going to be hard to reach now.

By my estimates, it usually took some luck (obviously), but also about 10+ hours of time and 4000+ spins to get past the $10,000 mark before. It’s a war of attrition and usually the best way to fight it is by doing no more than an hour or 2 chunks. This is when your mind will be the most sharp. I tend to make bad decisions when I’ve been playing for longer than an hour.

Remember, all the real money prizes are for those you get in the top 10 and there is still a day and a half left in the tournament.

How I did in the Easter Week Long Freeroll

I got going for a little while. The reels started off very slowly and were only giving back more than I bet one out of 10 pulls. For that reason, I started out with the minimum bet of 0.20 for the first 100 spin or so. If you trying to make the free part of this freeroll last longer than 10 minutes, your going to have to wait until you have won one of the features before you can start to think about raising your bets.

I really don’t think that you should consider your tournament started before you win the bonus round or free spins at least once. You have to see a couple of cycles of free spins and bonus rounds to be able to have an idea as to around what time the feature will be triggered.

The frustrating times are when you go for over 300+ spins without triggering a feature. There is almost no way to win when this happens. Here is the only thing you should do when you feel this scenario happening:

If this happens early in the tournament – Stop spinning. Put the coin level to it’s lowest. Click the autoplay button. Set the spins to 250 or 500. Click start and go away for a while. You will come back to a bonus round feature almost every time. From there, reset your internal clock and start paying attention again.

If this happens later in a tournament (when you have more money) – Stop spinning. Put the Bet at either $2 or $5 dollars. Click autoplay. Set number of spins to anything you want. Set it to stop on any win that exceeds 50. Stop if the credits increase by 50. Stop if credits decrease by 100.

This is the method I use after what I consider the breakout when you have won a large paying feature. It’s all about timing of the larger bets. If you get a large bet wrong, you have to go right back down and try to make up what you lost.

The easiest way to lose is by betting more than 1/20th of your balance at any given time. The feeling of losing what you worked hard for will compel you to try to get it back with another mistake. After that, you say what the heck and go with large bets until you bust.

Knowing that the reels could be cold, the better solution is to take a break and set the auto spins. Then come back with a fresh outlook. I’ve gone from $9,000 and on the leaderboard to bust within 10 minutes before. You have to keep a cool head or your gonna crack and lose all your money.

By the way, I lasted about 1000 spins with the Free entry and $100 balance. I should be about as close to the bottom as possible as I have two cents left that I can’t bet.

How to register

That means that 1st place gets paid the 5th place price and 5th place gets the top prize. The top 5 prizes are as follows: 5th place – $350, 4th – $110, 3rd – $100, 2nd – $80 and 1st gets $70. Players in the top 10 get $45 or more and the top 24 places will receive a cash prize.

This is a quick tournament though, so you don’t have much time to register and start playing. This tournament ends on April 2 at 7:30PM ET. Here’s the important details:

You will start with a $100 balance. How you decide to use the balance is up to you. Do you want to see if your lucky and take a couple of big pulls to try to get on top early or does slow and steady win the race?

Here are the general rules for playing Vegas Party:

There are 25 paylines, a substitute icon and a scatter icon that can give you free spins. Like usual, all symbols pay from left to right on the reels.

As always, this tournament is 100% free to enter and register for. You do not have to make a deposit at Online Vegas in order to play and have a chance to win. All players will start with a balance of $100 in coins and you must make a minimum of 20 bets to qualify for a high score.

The goal as always is to post the highest score by the time the tournament ends. The person with the highest score on the leaderboard will win $21,000. Almost all of the free tournaments here have always had a Wild Card, Free Spins and a Bonus Round to make it “easier” to jump up way up in total if you get lucky and land a large valued spin. Featured Game – Cupid’s Arrow

The featured game for this slot tournament is Cupid’s Arrow. Obviously, it is a Valentine’s Day themed video slot that has 5 reels and 20 paylines. It also contains a Free Spins scatter card and a Gift Box Pyramid bonus game.

The one downside with this game is that a lot of the icons look alike (8 of the 13 icons have a heart in them in one way or another) so it may be a bit confusing at first. As with any video slot, just give it a little time and you’ll know what your looking to get. If there is any doubt, you want to get something that looks close to this:

The Roses, the Lipstick Kiss, the Chocolate Heart Box and the Valentine’s Day Card are the four highest in that order. The Pink number 8 payline and grey number 18 payline is where I got the big wins in this instance.

As with most games, you must get three Scatter cards on the screen in order to get free spins. In Cupid’s Arrow, the scatters will get you 15 free spins. You can also win additional free spins by collecting at least two scatters on the board during a free spin.

Cupid’s Arrow Bonus Round

In order to obtain the bonus round, you must Bonus Heart symbol on both reels 2 and 4. These are the only two reels they will show up on. You will be transported over to the Gift Box Pyramid to try to collect money all the way up to the top.

Once you get the Broken Heart as shown, you will only collect what you have already won and do not get to progress any further up the pyramid. I have played this bonus game about 10 times and from what I can tell, there is no broken heart in the first row of presents. But after the first row there is at least 1 box per row that contains the broken heart.
