How to get the $30 Free Slot Tournament Bonus

This is very simple. All you have to do is download Cool Cat casino’s software and install it onto your computer. You will be asked to create your account and sign-in to the casino.

Then, you have to click on the Cashier button in the Casino Lobby. Once the cashier has come up, click on the Redeem Coupon tab and type in the Coupon Code: TOURNAMENTCHIP in the box provide. Then click the Redeem button.

Each tournament will have a set time limit and a starting credit. The object of the tournament is to get the highest score by using up as much of your starting credits as possible and while trying not to run out of credits too fast.

The average pace that you should set is 1000 credits per minute playtime. If you are ahead of this pace, drop you bet per spin down until time catches up. If you are behind the pace, bet the maximum amount per bet until you are on pace to use all your credits on time.

Thank you Carla for alerting me to the problem with this code. I contacted Cool Cat casino and they confirmed that there is currently an issue with their TOURNAMENTCHIP bonus code. The lady I contacted at Cool Cat said she was having the same problem with the bonus code. I am awaiting a response for this issue.

As of right now, the coupon code TOURNAMENTCHIP cannot be used because the code will come up as expired. I’m being led to believe that this is only temporary and that this coupon code should be fixed.

Like I had previously mentioned before, I have been looking to find new free US slot tournaments for my website ever since Vegas Tech decided to pull the plug on their US customer base. I’ve been looking at software other than Real Time Gaming (Rushmore, Silver Oak, Club USA, etc.) but haven’t had success in that department. The other casino gaming platforms that are allowing US players (ie. Rival Gaming, Top Game, Parlay Entertainment, and Amigotechs) and none of these offer slots tournaments at all.

21GNet is another casino gaming platform. Although this software does not offer any slot tournaments, you will find a cool new blackjack tournament feature at casinos that use this software. The most popular of these casino is 5dimes. However, this too does not help my cause.

There are other slot tournaments out there, but these are hosted by either a Microgaming casino (such as 32Red, Platinum Play or GoWild Casino) or a Net Entertainment casino (such as Betsson or Casino Euro). Alas, none of these casino currently accept players from the United States.

So that leaves me to find more casinos that use RTG software, because this is the only gaming platform that still fits into my niche (Free US Slot Tournaments – duh).

Casino Titan Freeroll Slot Tournaments

So it is with much excitement that I can tell you that I have found more online slot freerolls! (Funny what a little bit of desperation can do) I’m not sure how long that Casino Titan has been running these freerolls; but they already seem to be popular without my help.

Casino Titan offers 3 daily freeroll slot tournaments. These tournaments run for 7 hours beginning around 9:00AM and 11:00AM (Eastern Standard) and the other begins at 9:30PM (These are estimates because the time can vary by an hour or so).

You will have to be on top of things because only the first 500 people to register can participate. The registrations open four hours before the start of the tournaments (around 5:00AM ET, 7:00AM ET and 5:30PM ET respectively).

These freerolls fill up fast, so I would try to enter soon after the registrations open if you want to get a chance to play!

The total prize pool is $50 for each of the daily freerolls. The first place prize is $12.50; 2nd gets $7.75; 3rd receives $5.75 and the top 8 places will receive more than a dollar. I know it’s not a staggering amount, but you can’t expect much more from a free daily tournament.

The early morning tournaments (9:00AM) and late night tournaments (9:30PM) have a 10 minute playtime and a total of 5,000 in credits. This means that you are going to want to play at a 500 credit/minute pace.

The midday tournaments (11:00AM) have a playtime of 45 minutes and still only a total of 5,000 credits. This is interesting because your strategy is going to have to come down to the credits you use instead of the playtime.

All you need to do is download Silver Oak’s casino software and create a user account. Then go to the Cashier and select the Redeem Coupon tab. In the Coupon Code, type in TOURNAMENTCHIP and press the Redeem button. You will receive $30 free at Silver Oak Casino. This $30 can only be used on Slot Tournaments!

Now it doesn’t look like Silver Oak offers many slot tournaments if you see the screenshot of the tournament lobby below. However, once you take a closer look, you will see that they have a lot to offer you. There are two daily slot tournaments that have $5.50 ($5.00+$0.50) and $16.50 ($15.00+$1.50) buy-ins. There is also a weekly slot tournament that has a $22 buy-in ($20+$2) and a monthly slot tournament which is Silver Oaks big draw.

Silver Oaks Monthly Tournament

The monthly slot tournament cost $8.25 ($7.50+$0.75) to buy-in to the tournament. There is a guaranteed prize pool of $7,500 for this tournament. The prizes awarded are based upon the number of entries placed.

This is a different type of slot tournament then many that I’ve shown you before. Silver Oak Casino uses Real Time Gaming software (the same as Rushmore Casino). All of Silver Oak’s slot tournaments are timed events with no rebuys and you are not allowed to use the Autoplay button.

How the Slot Tournaments Work

I’m going to use the monthly slot tournament as the example. You will start with 45,000 credits and 45 minutes of playtime. The object of the tournament is to post the highest score in the 45 minutes. You get one shot to do it so the pressure is on.

The things you have control over is the number of paylines that you can bet on and the amount of credits you bet per spin. There are two things that you do not want to do:
1) Don’t run out of credits early! 2) Don’t leave credits unused at the end of 45 minutes!

Betting in this type of slot tournament

The credits are the available bets that you have to use in the amount of time dictated by the tournament rules. When you bet, there is no getting the credits back. When you win on a payline, the total goes into your Score. That is the number you want to get as high as possible.

This means generally that you should be going at a pace of 1,000 credits per minute. Ideally, you would like to bet 100.00 credits (the maximum bet and maximum lines) on each spin. You may have to bump the bet down to 25.00 (or 20.00 in some of their tournaments) if you start to get ahead of the 1,000 credits/minute goal.

There is only one other bet setting lower and that is 12.50 (10.00 on some) credits per spin. I try not to make spins at this bet level because it tends to take up too much time and not enough of a reward when you hit the paylines.

The one thing that can help you out as far as timing are free spins. After activating them, the free spins may take several seconds to unveil the multipliers and number of free spins. It will also take at least 1 minute or more to go through your free spins without betting.

As long as you are ahead of the 1,000 credits/minute, make sure that you are betting the 100.00 credits max per spin to get the highest score possible.

April Freeroll Slot Tournament

Starting this month, Silver Oak Casino is also offering a free slot tournament for all of their players. There is a prize pool of $2,500 and the winner will end up receiving $625! You will get 45,000 credits to start and 45 minutes of playtime in the tournament.

If you need to stop for any reason during the tournament, hit the Back button and the Time Remaining will pause until you come back and make your next spin.

This freeroll only has 75 more entries left before all 1000 entries are filled up. If you would like to participate in this freeroll, you have to enter in the next couple of hours before you’re too late.

The 5K May Free Tournament has just started today and already 620 of the 1000 players available have registered. One of the limitations of the Real Time Gaming slots tournament software is that only 1000 people can register for any one tournament.

Even though this is only the first of the month, already more then half of the available players allowed have registered. I have already signed up and played this tournament; I am currently sitting in 65th place with a little more than 39,000 points scored.

That probably isn’t going to win me any money, though. The prizes are awarded to the top 70 finishers and with more than 400 people left to play I’m fairly sure I’ll be bumped out soon.

May Freeroll Prizes and Info

There is a total prize pool of $5000 for this freeroll. The first place player gets $1,200! 2nd place gets $750; 3rd receives $500. The top 9 places will get $90 or more; the other top 70 will receive prizes between $50 and $12.50.

You will start with 30,000 credits and 30 minutes of playtime. The best practice that I have found is timing the droughts on the reels with your lower bets (20.00 spins) and betting the max (100.00 spins) all other times.

The worst thing you can do in this tournament is hit a large payline with a small bet. You can only count on getting a set number of features or large paylines won. It is very important to hit each one with a maximum bet.

Featured Game

As I’m in a hurray to get this post up, I will only briefly go through the featured slot – Goldbeard

Goldbeard is a pirate themed video slot machine that has a substitute symbol of Goldbeard
and a Gold Coin scatter. Goldbeard can only appear on reels 1 and 5 during normal play and all paylines are doubled when Goldbeard is present. Receiving more than one of the Gold Coin scatters will win you a multiple of your total bet, but 3 scatters do not trigger anything in this game.

This slot machine has a free game (spins) feature that can be triggered when Goldbeard appears on both reels 1 and 5. You can win up to 24 free games. The prizes won for this free slot tournament are bonus prizes that need to be wagered 10x before you can cash the money out. That means in order to cash out this money, you must bet the bonus money on any slot machine. If you win $20, you have to bet $200 worth of wagers in order to be eligible to take the money out of the account. The “pay tournaments” offered at Online Vegas don’t have this stipulation as that prize money can be cashed out whenever.

These monthly freerolls used to somewhat manageable to do well in; but they have become extremely competitive over the past half year or so. There are already about 14,000 free entries that are playing.

You’ll find that at least 95% of these people bust out and don’t come back. Let’s say your goal was to get into the top 200 players (easily manageable) and win at least $20. You will probably only need to triple or quadruple your starting balance ($75) to achieve this. Of course if you lose it all trying to bet big and bust out, you won’t get much of anything for your efforts.

As I have said before, the best way to have a chance a really winning money that you can cash out of your casino account is by playing the real money slot tournaments. These have an entry fee and the prizes do not have bonus rules attached to them. That is why I don’t recommend rebuying in these tournaments.

I would recommend starting right away in the slot tournament and having a lot of time to dedicate to this. The Autospin function can be put to great use as there are parameters that can be set once you have a large enough bankroll. If you have $50 to blow to try and take one of the top spots, you can start making large bets right away and keep rebuying a couple of times when you bust out. When you eventually hit a large payline, you will rocket up the leaderboard (that’s how they get a really high score so fast).

These tournaments are all about getting your foot in the door and having the persistence and patience to watch you balance go up or down once you get past $1000 in your balance. That is about the tipping point that I have found playing in these tournaments most of the time. Get above that mark and you have room to maneuver. Get below that mark and you have to beware of busting out.

Well enough babbling about strategies. The biggest strategy will always be luck. Hit free spins/bonus round/large payline with a big bet and you’re sitting pretty for a little bit.

The starting balance you will receive when you start this tournament is $75. You can rebuy when you balance goes below $35. You will receive an additional $250 in your balance if you rebuy. There is no limit to the amount that you can rebuy.

The featured game of this freeroll slot tournament is called Lucky Lady, which is a WWII aviation themed game. The Lucky Lady is the substitute and the icon will only appear on reels 2, 3 and 4. The scatter is a Star and does not trigger any special feature in this game. The other icons include an altimeter, a bomb, an airman’s hat and a post letter.

There is one special feature that can be triggered on this slot machine. It is triggered by the feature icon, a B-52 bomber. In order to trigger this feature, you must get three consecutive feature icons in a row just like you would have to with any of the other paylines.
